2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Doctrine - speaks of Christ and the cross
Voice of the prophet
1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
reproof - confronts your sin
Voice of the judge
Jas 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Jas 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
correction (making things right)
Voice of the priest
Christ as THE priest corrects the broken relationship between man and God.
Lu 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
instruction in righteousness - rule over the flesh (earthly)
