These five letters represent the Son of God, The Son speaking in parables and mysteries, the mystery completed in the death of the Son, the declared word completed in the resurrection of the Son and teaching .
- כפףקל
Kaf כ
The Kaf represents the incarnate Word of God, or Son of God. It is drawn with the resh which has added a lower curved corner into the horizontal earthly line. The Word became flesh.[1]
Pe פ
The Pe is a Kaf with a yod dangling from the top left corner. As a Kaf it represents the Son of God, the dangling yod is a response back to God not originating on earth. It is from the Son of God himself. He speaks of or through everything that God created. Inside the letter is a hidden yod. The Son speaks of hidden things by speaking about the visible things. [2] The letter represents the mystery which has been hidden from the beginning. [3] Speaking of hidden things is prophecy.
Final Pe ף
The Final Pe extends below the line indication the death of the Son of God at the beginning of his incarnation. The mystery of the cross, his death, was the very purpose of his life. At the end of his life he said that we must eat his body which was given for us. This saying was the final bookend to the same image at the beginning of his life. The grass was given to the cattle to eat, and Jesus was placed in the manger indicating that he was the food for the sheep. [4]
Qof ק
The Qof is a Kaf, with the lower curved corner inverted. The returning vav starts below the line. It is already established with the Kaf that the Son of God was made flesh. This tells us something else about the Son of God. This death line does not extend below the line. The Son of God experienced a second death or a second aspect of the one death that was not in the flesh. The Son of God was separated from the Father in the Spirit and then restored from the grave. The reasons for two deaths is that there are two kinds of sin represented in the law. There is a sin of the flesh and a sin of the spirit. Christ died for them both. [5]
Lamed ל
The Lamed has the same form of the kaf as the qof, and means the same thing the death of the Son. However it is ljoined by a rare vav above the upper horizontal on the left side. This is the word of God spoken to clarify the death of the Son. This is the teaching of Christ concerning his own death. [6] [7] [8]
