Thank you for this insightful discussion! I am seeing more in a short time that I have been a part of this group. I never saw these threads before quite like this, making the connection between the old and the new. Genesis is truly a foundational book for the rest of the Bible!<br />

As I read these two scriptures I see how they also relate to the beginning of Genesis.<br />
<br />
2 Cor 4:6<br />
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.<br />
<br />
1Co 10:1-4<br />
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;<br />
And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;<br />
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;<br />
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.<br />
