There is light within a man of light, and he lights up the whole world. If he does not shine, he is darkness.&quot; <br /> <br /> :Light = Holiness<br /> :Darkness = grace. One who is evil or sinful, but who has not been destroyed is receiving grace. He is in darkness.<br /> <br /> As men, we are only made holy when God imputes his holiness to us ([[2Co 5:21]]). Christ was holy by his divine nature. The symbol of the Nazarite tells us that Jesus did not need holiness imputed to him, nor did he need grace. This is seen in the symbols of wine (grace) and strong drink (the law) which the Nazarite swears not to drink. <br /> <br /> The one who is holy has holiness withing and he brings holiness to the whole world. This is primarily a picture of Jesus as the one who redeems the world.
