Before the beginning there was only God. Where did God put the universe? It seems like a silly question, but answer is obvious and solves all kinds of questions:
- 1Ki 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
There is no container larger than God, therefore he created a void within himself in which to put the universe.
The yod is the first thought of creation... the first speck of the void.
