Before the beginning there was only God. Where did God put the universe? It seems like a silly question, but answer is obvious and solves all kinds of questions:

1Ki 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

There is no container larger than God, therefore he created a void within himself in which to put the universe.

The yod is the first thought of creation... the first speck of the void. When drawing any letter, first the yod is drawn. Then the letters combine into words which were use to create all that there is.

The primary metaphor speaks of God's plan to create, the act of creation, and the Creator. In the aleph there are two yods to represent everything in heaven and in earth. There is only one creation, which has two parts.
