=Retelling the mystery=See Eze 17:[[Mt 13:1]] ¶ The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. On this day, Jesus spoke from the land and from the sea. He spoke of earthly things and spiritual things. First of earthly things: in chapter 12, he had rebuked the Pharisees who had challenged him. Then in spiritual things: he went to the sea to speak as the Living Water. The parables he told in chapter 13, all speak of him.8----:[[Mt 13:2]] And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. ::Ship [[אניה]] is the same word as sorrow [[אניה]] .::Shore [[שפה]] also means brink [[שפה]]The parables that he told speak Parable of his own death. It brought him sorrow whenever he was faced with the prospect of the cross. Sitting in the boat was a sign of his sorrow.The people stood, in the same fashion that they would when they later cried "Crucify him!" and as they did at the cross.The people stood on the shore... on the brink between condemnation and justification.
