Re 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

John - 'God has given' or 'God's gift'

seven - the complete

Asia - (p. woman אשה eesha)

God's gift to the church of the bride:

from the

seven - complete in seven parts

Spirit - ruach רוח - interval

before his

throne (כסא) - appointed, concealed (the cross as the concealed appointed time).

Note

There are seven intervals of time, each a picture of Christ, before the cross:

1. Creation

2. Separation of light and dark (Adam)

3. Separation of the waters (Noah)

4. Grass, herb, tree (Abraham, Issac, Jacob & Joseph)

5. Israel in the desert

6. Israel in the Promised Land

7. Christ and his bride.
