The tsadi צ is like the ayin ע but it touches in the lower right corner, which I call the point of the cross. It symbolizes the reconciliation of Holiness and Love on the cross. It is a symbolism of righteousness. It's name means side and provision. Just as Eve was taken from the side of Adam while he slept/died, so the church was formed from the cross. As Holiness and Love were joined on the cross, provision was made for man to live; hence the lower horizontal from the cross.
The word for tree ets עץ with letters representing sin ע and righteousness ץ. Christ though righteous, bore our sin on the tree/cross.
