These doctrines are an abominable distraction from God.
1. Words have power.
:The words God used to create the universe do not have power in and of themselves. God displayed his power through the use of words. "Magik" supposes that if you learn the words you control the thing. This is an attempt to be a god. No word, mantra, prayer, or ceremony has power in itself.
2. Objects have power.
:God uses objects to display his purposes. Objects themselves have no spiritual power. No idol, talisman, religious artifact has any power.
