We remind ourselves of our history: The first church was Hebrew. The Old Testament is Hebrew. When God added Gentiles to the church, they did not wish to become Jewish. <ref>[[Ac 15:10]] Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?</ref> Basically they asked for 'Christianity Lite'. Paul chose to preach nothing but Christ and him crucified<ref>[[1Co 2:2]] For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.</ref>, he did not teach them the law, nor the rich 'shadow of the good things coming' contained in the law.<ref>[[Heb 10:1]] ¶ For the law having a shadow of good things to come, [and] not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.</ref> Since the Greeks (inclusive of Gentiles) did not need to obey the law, they did not need to learn it.
