Revealing - ר
Revelation ר is what brings God and man together. It is the center of Israel ישראל connecting man ish יש and God el אל.
There are several kinds of revelation mentioned in the alphabet.
- Vav ן separates things to differentiate them for better understanding.
- Dalet ד is a command which includes creation which was formed at his command.
- Lamed ל is teaching with a shared heart.
- Pe פ teaching through types, shadows, parables, mysteries, and prophetic riddle.
- Shin ש the indwelling Spirit giving life to the bride.
- Rosh ר a revelation where God makes himself known.
The greatest mystery, and so the greatest revelation when known is; the Hebrew word for marriage laqach לקח also means 'teaching'. This single revelation, when understood, removes all of the comic book understandings of Christianity and ushers you into the presence of God.
The bride of Christ is made up of those who are taught of Christ. [1] Come on now... you know the marriage of the lamb HAD to be a metaphor.
Consider this: Scripture is good for 'training in righteousness' [2] which is disciplining, or controlling the flesh. The husband and wife become 'one flesh'. Our flesh is under the teaching and control of Christ.
Together the husband and wife are 'fruitful and multiplying'. [3]. They are fruitful by the fruit of the Spirit [4] which looks like a bunch of stuff that happens when the flesh is well disciplined. And the multiply by teaching. [5] [6]
This is the revelation of God to man. He calls to you like a shepherd to his sheep and if you hear him, you are his sheep. [7] He teaches in many ways. [8] He gives you a new heart and a new spirit. [9] And he makes you fruitful and multiplying in that Spirit.
