C 1Co 9:9 - Sensus Plenior

C 1Co 9:9

Paul unpacks the sensus plenior from De 25:4.

אל תחסם שור הדישו

=Written for our sakes? Who else cold it be for?

God? Certainly not. He has no need to write things for himself.
Jesus? Yes. Jesus said that all the scripture speak of him. [1]
Us? Of course. Since we are separated from God by ignorance; Elohim, he makes himself known through revelation; Israel.
The cow? No. The cow has been given to man to have dominion over. By instructing us in the care of animals, he instructs us in his own character.

1Co 9:10 Or saith he [it] altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, [this] is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

Heb 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
