The next chapters will examine the metaphor of each letter in greater detail. However, the letters, when interpreted in order, have the meaning:

God created the heavens and the earth א
He revealed to man ב
that he pursued them ג
with his commands and teachings ד
which they heard but did not understand ה
It distinguished them ו
as the bride ז
when they understood ח
Through marriage with the Son of God ט
they became a new creation י
The Son of God כ
taught ל
the covenant מ
The Son of Man נ
fulfilled the spiritual works of God ס
reconciling holiness and grace in his flesh by being made to be sin. ע
He spoke in parables פ
of the cross צ
The Son of God died ק
revealing ר
that his word does not return void (resurrected with a bride) ש
He completed his work, with a new life responding to him ת
The Son of God died ך
and finished the declared works ם
The Son of Man died ן
Prophecy was fulfilled (the prophet died) ף
Judgement was ended (the judge/righteous man died) ץ
