From the beginning

The mystery of Christ was hidden from the beginning of time. [1]

The authors of scripture wrote of that which they knew; the history of what they observed. They did not know what God was hiding in their writings.
God wrote his message using riddles buried in the text. Riddles hide things in plain sight. [2]
