Judges called Elohim

Judges called Elohim

When judges are called 'Elohim' [1] it is not because they judge like God. They are separated from God.

It is because they don't judge like God. They cannot judge rightly because they don't know him.
He tells them they are separated from him by ignorance and they will die like men. [2]
  1. ↑ Ps 82:6 ¶ I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.
  2. ↑ Ps 82:7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
