▸ ± Mr 4:3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower ^[2] to sow ^[3]:

¢ The 'sower' and the 'seed' are both זרע. The sower and the seed are the same person. ^[4] 'Sowing' is from the same root זרוע which is the act of making distinct between the guilt זר and the flesh ע.

▸ ± Mr 4:4 And it came to pass ^[1], as he sowed ^[2] , some fell ^[3] by the way side ^[4] , and the fowls ^[5] of the air ^[6] came and devoured ^[7] it up.

▸ ± Mr 4:5 And some fell ^[1] on stony ^[2] ground ^[3] , where it had not much earth ^[4] ; and immediately it sprang up ^[5] , because it had no depth of earth ^[6] :

▸ ± Mr 4:6 But when the sun ^[1] was up ^[2], it was scorched ^[3]; and because it had no root ^[4], it withered away ^[5].

▸ ± Mr 4:7 And some fell ^[1] among thorns ^[2], and the thorns grew up, and choked it ^[3] , and it yielded no fruit ^[4] .

▸ ± Mr 4:8 And other fell on good ground ^[1], and did yield fruit ^[2] that sprang up ^[3] and increased ^[4] ; and brought forth^[5], some thirty ^[6], and some sixty ^[7] , and some an hundred ^[8] .
