Some are troubled by darkness representing grace. Paul says that the more that the offense abounds, the more that grace abounds.
Darkness from man's perspective is increased sin, but from God's it is increased grace. God's perspective is the primary meaning. Before God said "Let there be light"he dwelt in darkness. The Trinty was in perfect grace.
