2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Training (instruction in righteousness)) is one of the four things that scripture is profitable for. It represents the voice of the King. We are called to Kings over the flesh; to rule over it.
