2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Doctrine is one of the four things that scripture is profitable for. It represents the voice of the Prophet since it always speaks of Christ. He is the Truth, and therefore he is central to all doctrine.
