Saviors

Saviors

To have a savior there must first be someone who needs saving and something to be saved from.

Ge 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

In Genesis 3:15 There is enmity between the woman (the church) and the serpent and between the serpent and the seed (singular) of the woman. The word זרע seed means (h. From the bride proceeds the Word in the flesh).

The identity of the savior is the Word in the flesh (Christ). The word שופ bruise is used to form the words for 'judgement' and 'trumpet'. The serpent will judge Christ (prior to the cross), and Christ will judge the serpent (finally). Incidentally, in other places the trumpets announce judgement.
