Saying 5

(5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."

Meaning

This note is a reminder that what is plain in the New Testament is hidden in the Old. As someone has said, The New Testament is Christ revealed, the Old Christ concealed. Sight is a metaphor for understanding. What we understand from the New Testament reveals what is in the Old.
