Long Catechism->PHB: Introduction
Genesis 1 contains the record of God creating the universe. The word 'said' is used ten times. <ref> He used words to create things. Before he could do that, he had to invent the words, and the alphabet. Some mistakenly think that the words contained the power of creation. They do not. God is the power of creation.
