1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

'the Heavens' השמים means 'the NAME' of them השמ-ים. John then enumerates their names from the letters: Father מ, Word ם, and Spirit ש. He confirms the word play with a count of three persons who testify (3), as well as gematria for 'heavens' as three.
