WLC - Answer 27 (Bob)
From Sensus Plenior
WLC - Answer 27 (Bob) The ejection from eternity into the illusion of time, in an isolation ward of those who think they are gods, brought with it remnants of the lesson taught in the garden:
- clothing to remind them that they are more than animals
- curse of the ground to remind them that it was God who provided for them, and if they persist in their delusion, must provide for themselves
- pain in childbearing to remind them that before their sin, God effected painless reproduction from the side of Adam. If they are gods, let them do it.
- a choice to not live under the curse, by trusting God for provision as did Abel.
- a flesh that produces pain, suffering and death for itself and others, as it makes un-godly choices, proving they are not gods.
- inability to escape the pain, suffering and death, demonstrating that they are not gods.
All the consequences of the ejection are the second lesson that God is Holy, and that he alone is God.
