Heb 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Word play: But Christ as a son ב over his own house בית. The ית makes the bet ב diminuative, or a smaller, lessor one of the same. The house of David is comprised of all those who are a part of David. Christ, the Son ב rules over his house בית of those who are like him.

The same kind of word play is used in שמים where the Spirit ש hovers over the face of the waters מים.
