Primary metaphor

The dalet represents the spoken word, the teaching, or the command of God.

The first dalet

Ge 1:4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

The word for 'divide' is badal בדל. By the letters it means 'in ב the word ד taught ל'. It can also be divided as 'in ב the lowly one דל'.

Christ is the week one who is the Word who taught. This first occurrence tells us the content of the word from heaven which was taught by the lowly one. Jesus is called the morning star[1]. He is the one who teaches the difference between the light and the dark. [2]
