Saying 34
- (34) Jesus said, "If a blind man leads a blind man, they will both fall into a pit."
Seeing represents understanding.
The word בור pit also means 'declare'.
When people who do not understand the scriptures lead others in understanding of the scriptures they both fall, by declaring what they believe to be true to be Truth.
