The second book
The first book of the Son of David is Ecclesiastes, and the second is Matthew. The first book contains the wisdom of the world, the second the record of the Wisdom of God, Jesus Christ. These two words are reflected in the name 'David'.
דוד David means a distinction ו between two words ד. The 'books of David' (Ecclesiates and Matthew) distinguish between earthly wisdom and heavenly wisdom.
The titles of Jesus
Second son
The Second Son motif speaks of Jesus as the second Adam. Each man becomes a representative as the second son by being a second man in reality or by way of riddle, and by getting an inheritance that the first man lost. The first man represents the earthly man, and the second represents the heavenly man.
- 1Co 15:47 The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven.
