The prophets of old packed away the mystery. Modern prophets unpack it by the Spirit to solve riddles. They validate what the Spirit tells them by these rules.

Divine meaning A metaphor/shadow means the same thing everywhere is it used. This makes it self-correcting. Every donkey is a prophet, and every garment a work.

Christocentric All the scriptures speak of him. This eliminates wild interpretations.

Self-contained Historians and physicists are not apostles. Answer for the riddles come from scripture.

Self-examination

Jer 17:9 The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? Eliminate preconceived notions.

Humility Since not one jot nor tittle will pass away, a complete understanding cannot be claimed until every jot and tittle is understood.

Complete Man shall live by every word… therefore a doctrine is not sound until it sums up and includes all the scriptures have to say about it… including the hidden layer.

Rigorous Since every word concerning life and death must be established by two or three witnesses, every shadow must have at least two supporting scripture witnesses.

These rules are derived from scripture. Can you discern how?
