He revealed to man ב

I am using the term ‘revelation‘ to be more than merely propositional statements of vague shadows. Revelation is the personal engagement between two. The one communicating is ensuring that the receiver understands.

The bet ב represents that which can be known about God not merely being presented to man, but being presented in such a way that there is no excuse for not knowing.

Ro 1:19 ¶ Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.

Allegorically the bet is a door, and it’s name mean’s ‘house’. Spelling out the name bet בת the letters mean “God revealed himself to man, and that revelation produced a life spontaneously returning to him.”  This is the house of God:

Heb 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

As a prefix, the bet is translated ‘in‘. God has come into the world. He is not a God who is not near, but one who chooses to dwell with men:

2Ch 6:18 But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!

The bet is the second letter. After God created, he revealed himself to man. He walked with Adam in the garden. It is not his desire to be hidden, but to be known in truth.

Isa 43:10 Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

My apologies

Here is an example of the aleph with the next two letters of the alphabet. I apologize because it can get tedious. We are so accustomed to read quickly through material, and lists like this are intended for deep contemplation.

One might try to correlate other scriptures with the doctrines suggested.  But it important to bore you with examples now, so that later, I can bore you in small pieces and you know there is a basis for the practices being used.

From the combination of aleph with the bet, the following doctrines are suggested:

The Father has never been seen except by the Son. (invisible aleph)
The Son reveals the Father (bet reveals invisible aleph) (bet alone is the Son which reveals the ab)
The Father revealed himself after creation (by the letters)
He used the door (the Son) to reveal himself (bet is the door by allegory)
He created a house (bet by the name)
He divided the house (aleph divides)
He reconciled the house (aleph reconciles)
He exists as a triune God (gematria of ab = 3)

From the combination of the aleph and the gimel:

After creation God pursued the weaker one (gimel is rich man pursuing the poor)
When the Creator pursues you, you will be anxious, insecure (meaning of ag) (opposite of ga – pride)

Aleph summary

Without going into the tedious details, the letter suggests the following points of doctrine.

God alone is God, there is no other (invisible and silent)
He exists as a tri-une being( three parts of aleph)
He alone created (one creation, two parts.. all that is)
No one observed him create (silent and invisible)
The Father and Son are two aspects of one God (two yods)
The Holy Spirit is God, but His unity with God is  different than the unity between Father and Son. (diagonal vav)
There is a natural tension between Father and Son which is held in place by the Spirit. (vav between the yods)
The Spirit drives the Father and creation apart (from the fluttering)
The Son pulls the Father and creation together (from the firmament)
All three aspects of God are fully God. (all one aleph – creator)
One is like 1000 to God. (number and name)
God (the creator) is one (number)

These doctrines are repeated in many ways and places throughout the Bible.

A couple posts could be spent on each topic to show doctrine from other scripture. I will let others do that.

The same kind of list of doctrines can be produced with each of the 28 letters and 22 x 21 = 462 permutations of the 22 natural letters and someday I must get around to doing it.

Some people will just think I am incredibly clever and inventive. But I am merely observing this and sharing what I see.   Our Bible is very much like a “Where’s Waldo”book and we didn’t know we were supposed to be looking for Waldo. But now that we know he is there, we can see him, but we will be blamed for putting him there, even though he has always been there.

His sheep hear his voice.

Aleph in desire -2 abeh אבה

The hei ה represents hearing but not understanding. There is a positive an negative aspect to it. On the negative side it represents those who don’t understand. They are also represented by the blind.  On the positive side it means they hear but don’t understand like the sheep hearing the voice of the shepherd without understanding the words. They are drawn to his voice.

When added to the end of father, the word means desire abeh אבה.  The sheep desire to be with the father.

Abeh can also be read as ah אה with the revelation of God to man, the bet ב, in the heart. ah אה means to yearn. It is a similar meaning as abeh אבה; yearning to hear the word, or drawn to the Father.

Abeh also means reed. Water represents the word of God. The reed is a metaphor for the one who is bent by the flow of the water. Following the word without understanding.

The word is only used once, and is translated ‘swift’.

Job 9:26  They are passed away as the swift <016> ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.

The ships made from reeds would have been light weight and swift in the wind, so it is not a bad cultural/contextual translation since they did not have the metaphor of the letters available at the time.

The Concordant Hebrew English Sublinear Bible translates abeh אבה as ‘one being enemy’. This has the negative sense of being blind.

The reed boats were associated with the Egyptians which were enemies of Israel from an early time.

Aleph in father -1 ab אב

As words build up from letters, they retain the meaning of the smaller combinations of letters within. There are several ways this takes place:

Compounding includes conjugation, prefixing, suffixing and attaching other gates or roots.* In compounding, the original meaning carries forward to the new meaning.

To form abiy from ab a yod is added as a suffix. It becomes ‘my father’.

The challenge is to see how a word containing ab אב relates to the father when it is not obvious. This form is by attribution. The combination refers to an attribute of the original.

The bet ב represents the revelation coming to man.

The Father is the one who, after the creation, made himself known to man. He is the father ab אב. The word ab אב also means greenness, freshness, and fruit.

Here is a different expression of the metaphor speaking of the result of the creation, and what man could see of the creation when God revealed himself. It was a fresh, green world bearing fruit. The greenness and fruitfulness ab אב is the testimony of the Father.

How do we know the Father exists? By the testimony of his creation. It is fruitful. Like begets like. Life continues.

Ro 1:19 ¶ Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them.
Ro 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Another example of formation by attribution is the word perish. The word for perish is abad אבד; the Father’s  אב command or spoken word ד.

2Co 3:6 ¶ Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The word without the life, kills. You perish. Perish is also the mist ayd אד with a revelation to man bet ב inside. The testimony of creation also kills.

Ge 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Aleph – 1 א

God spoke and created the heavens and the earth

By focusing on the whole letter it can represent:
Actor: God as the creator
Act:  creation as a verb
Result: the creation
Method: separation
Effect: war between heaven and earth, division between holiness and love.

By focusing on the vav it can represent:

The Spirit hovering on the face of the waters. The fluttering of the Spirit serves to divide heaven and earth. What fellowship does holiness have with unholiness?

The firmament between the waters. The solid thing between heaven and earth (God in flesh) is Christ, who joins them.

When placed at the end of a word, the firmament comes into focus as heaven and earth are reconciled.

Aleph is also the number 1. There is only 1 creation but it has two aspects: heaven and earth. But the one has three parts. It has a vav and two yods. the two yods represent the Father and the son. They are one. They are each represented by a yod, but one is above and one is below. The mem and final mem repeat this teaching. The mem, representing the father is connected above, the final mem is also connected below. They are two forms of one letter.

Joh 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

The Spirit is called the Spirit of Christ, but also God is Spirit. He is an expression of both the Father and the Son.

Joh 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

The Spirit proceeds from the Father, given to the Son, who gives Him to us. The Son does the work of making the Father known.

The name ‘aleph’ has the meaning of 1000.  One day is like a thousand years. They are the same letter.

God created the heavens and the earth א

The aleph א is a huge idea which can be viewed from many sides, and expressed in many ways. The primary meaning is that when God spoke, he created two things which are two aspects (heavens and earth) of one thing (creation).

The primary implication is that God is unique as the creator. He is not the same as everything else. Through the act of creation, he mirrors aspects of himself. What is mirrored will never share all aspects of God. The distinction of creator vs. created will always exist no matter how intimately the joining of man and God becomes.

The diagonal vav identifies a dual-dualism. It separates the upper horizontal line of the square-letter template from the lower, the heavens from the earth. This dualism expressed a divide between physical and non-physical attributes of creation. But as mentioned previously, it also joins them. The physical creation is a trope; metaphor, allegory, shadow, type, riddle, parable or pattern, of the unseen things. They exist so that we may know God, and that he is made known through the Son.

The diagonal vav also separates the left from the right in the square-text template. Holiness and Love are divided. His nature includes both, but in revealing himself, he expresses them separately so that we can understand.

God is Holy and extends his Love, he then makes men holy so that they can return his love.

One may ask how this is different from other forms of dualism. Don’t. This is a discovered dualism, not an invented one. God communicated it through his word and we can observe it. Once we understand it, the man-made forms become trivial.

Philosophic dualism separates mind from body. It is a trite representation of the words used by Paul, but missing the meaning of what Paul said.

Ro 8:10 ¶ And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.

Moral dualism is a Satanic deception to elevate the devil to be equal with God. The world is not divided Good vs. Evil. Satan is not God’s peer. Creation was not good and evil, it was very good.

Ge 1:31 ¶ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Formation of letters

Mt 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The Greek word jot comes from the Hebrew letter yod י. It is the smallest letter. It would properly be represented by the smallest dot conceivable. However no one would see it.

The Greek word tittle keraia κεραία means horn. Rabbis comment that the vav looks like a horn. And horns are used as noise makers to get attention for a proclamation.

Contrary to popular belief, ‘jot or tittle’ is not a redundancy to say the smallest thing.  It means everything from the smallest idea to the loudest proclamation. Effectively nothing will pass away until all is fulfilled.

Another consideration is the formation of letters.
When drawing any letter, a yod is first formed. Every letter proceeds from the yod.  Every word is formed from letters, and everything was created with words. All of the letters are formed with yods and vavs. The yod contains everything that God wanted to say and do. The vav clarifies the singularity into everything else that exists.

Letters are formed within a square template. The strokes of the vavs can join at right angles or with curves. The top horizontal represents heavenly things, the lower, earthly things.  The right vertical descends and the left ascends.

A right angle is a lessor transfer than a curve. The dalet ד, with a right angle,  is the command or teaching. The resh ר is a revelation with personality. The bet ב is a revelation to man. The kaf כ is the revelation who has become man.

Most people don’t want or need to learn Hebrew, but should recognize that the meaning assigned to letters are not the result of free-for-all allegory, but are based in the meaning of the strokes within the letters.

Though it is boring to most, it reveals that Jesus and Paul were familiar with the meaning of the strokes.

Mystery of the alphabet

The letters of the Hebrew alphabet are also numbers.
When they are placed in order, and the metaphoric meaning read, the mystery of Christ is revealed.

Each letter is a huge idea, so this meaning is just an outline of a revealed/discovered systematic theology.
