Saying 56

(56) Jesus said, "Whoever has come to understand the world has found (only) a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse is superior to the world."

The world is passing away. the flesh is dead. If you find the world, you find that it is dead. In realizing that it is dead you have distinguished between the flesh and the spirit which is better than not knowing that the world is dead.
