Preface

Pardes legend associated with the Hebrew method of interpretation

Originating in the first century, the Jewish method of Biblical interpretation called Pardes, is accompanied by a legend which appears to be a warning by the ruling Jews against acknowledging that Jesus is the living Word, or living Torah of God.

If the method of Pardes reveals Christ in the scriptures when you violate the warning, then why aren't we violating the warning of the legend and seeing Christ in the scriptures.

One thing is certain; modern Jewish leaders do not want their own people to see Christ in their own scriptures now any more than when Jesus confronted the leaders of his day saying:

Mt 23:13 ¶ But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
