Com Gates of hell

The phrase 'gates of Hell' only occurs once in scripture. the Rule - Rigorous prevents us from forming a doctrine on a single verse. Therefor a doctrine built on a single verse is not valid.

The doctrine that says suggests that the gates attack the church have no supporting verses.

Gates do not attack.

Mt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
