§ "Learn from a parable of the cross; When 'Israel' is weak, and offers the burnt offering, you know that the love of God is near." 'Her', refers to the bride since she is made to be like Christ. Mark, using the "Israel is the Son of God" hermeneutic of his time, does not yet see Christ in it.
