Hieroglyphic Hebrew
Jewish tradition tells us that before God could speak to create the universe, he first invented the alphabet in order to make the words he would use. It is claimed that the letters themselves contain all the secrets of creation. We might say that they contain the idea seeds required to communicate anything God wants to say. Hebrew is said to be a deeply rooted language. The rabbis tell us that to discern the meaning of an unknown Hebrew word, we simply decompose it into the basic hieroglyphic meaning. Three letter language roots are composed of two letter sub-root ideas, which are themselves composed of single letter ideas. The letters themselves are hieroglyphic, being composed primarily of lines which represent primordial ideas. The meaning of the lines is discerned from their positions around a box template. Horizontal lines represent the idea of essential being. Vertical lines represent the idea of communication. The upper horizontal line represents the essential nature or heart of God. The lower horizontal line represents the essential nature or heart of man. The vertical line on the right initiates at the top and represents a communication from God to his creation. The vertical line on the left initiates at the bottom and represents a communication from man to God. The idea of communication is not just the communication of an idea or a word, but may be the sharing of the being. The difference is distinguished by the method of joining the horizontal line to the vertical line. A right angle represents a communication which is separated from the being. An arc represents that the essential nature of the being is shared. A diagonal line is a full merging of word with substance.
yThe smallest glyph is the yud. Conceptually, it is an infinitely small point, but it is represented by the shortest lines, both horizontal and vertical, in the upper right hand corner of the box template. The idea behind the yud comes from Genesis 1.2 “... and the earth was without form and void;” When God created the heavens and the earth, where did he create them? If he created them outside of himself and separated from him, then there is some container, some space which is bigger than God. This cannot be for he tells us that even the heaven of heavens cannot contain him: 1Ki 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? 2Ch 2:6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him? 2Ch 6:18 But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built! When God created the universe he had to make space within himself. He had to create a void in order to make room for us. Blaise Pascal said, “There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.” God said that there is a Blaise Pascal void within his very being which can only be filled by Blaise Pascal when redeemed by Jesus Christ. The yud represents the infinitely small point of a void within God's very essence where he 'moved over' for us. Within it is contained the potential for all the created universe and all God's communication with it. It is similar to the idea of the Big Bang point. The Big Bang point is a point so small it is nothing, out of which sprang all of existence. The difference is that the yud not only contains the potential for all creation, but also includes all the creative ideas of God himself. The Big Bang cannot explain love, but the yud does. It is the potential for all creation and all God's 'ideas'. Love exists because it first existed in God and the idea was poured into the yud so that creation would know love. From this we discern God's purpose for creation. He desired to dwell with men: Ex 29:45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God. Ex 29:46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God. 1Ki 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? 2Ch 6:18 But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built! Ps 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. Mt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Ro 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Re 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. The creator God of the universe desires to live with us. It gives him pleasure to dwell with us. It is his purpose to live among men. The infinitely small yud was the first spark of the idea that God would dwell among men, and he formed a void within himself to make room for us. All created things exist within the void and he holds keeps them there by the power of his word. Noah's ark is a shadow of the yud. It is the empty vessel which contained all the life of the new earth created by the separation of the flood waters from the earth. All the potential existence and all the hopes and dreams of man and God were contained in the ark, where God, by his command, made room (little rooms) for all the creatures. Moses, in making the ark foreshadows Christ who has gone into the very presence of God (the mansion) where he is preparing a place (a room) for us. In this, Christ is the fulfillment of the yud, wherein is contained all the potential for the new heaven and new earth. We live in Christ. Ro 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Ro 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Ro 16:7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. 1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Ga 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Php 1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: Everything in the void is held together by Christ: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist (held together).
The least of these The yud is the least of all the letters of the alphabet, even as Christ was the least among us: Lu 7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. Lu 9:48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great. Mt 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Side note for 'mustard seed': The word for 'mustard' means 'hurt' and Christ was the seed of the woman whose heel was bruised (Ge 3.15). Lu 22:27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. yThe smallest glyph is the smallest seed of a void which grew into all of God's created universe.
