How often must we forgive our enemies?

In sensus plenior, seven means complete, seventy is the complete dual-natured man which is Christ.

When Jesus said "seven times seventy" it was to be a reminder to them of how completely they were forgiven by Christ on the cross.

If your sins against God are greater than another's sins against you, and you have been completely forgiven by God, then you are able to completely forgive others.

If you are unable in your own strength to forgive another, then you forgive them with the complete forgiveness of the Son. Reply With Quote

Quote: 1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Quote: Ro 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Since all Satan can do to you will work together for your good, and since he cannot tempt you beyond what you can bear, what is there to forgive him for?
