Is 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

'oppressed and afflicted' in body and spirit (Two). In his incarnation, his suffering and temptation was real.

Twice it is said that he didn't open his mouth. He did not complain openly before men, nor privately before God.

The word 'said/word' אמר also means lamb. When God said "Let there be light." he created light by the lamb. The Lamb of God represents the Creator. Here a different word for lamb is used. Rather than the Lamb that spoke and the universe sprang into existence at his command, the lamb is now silently being led to the slaughter while his creation is shouting. It is a poignant juxtaposition; a notable reversal.

This is the meaning of meekness. The one with all power resists saying a word. It is power under control. He willingly faced death for us.
