Meaninig of John 13:10

In sensus plenior:

water is the word of God. (we renew our minds by the washing of His word" The feet represent our Walk or Life (Ears hearing the word, Eyes understanding the word, Feet Walking in the word.)

When he washed their feet he was making their "walk" or life clean. So if your life is clean, the body is just flesh and it is clean too.

Associated with this is why you take your shoes off when walking on Holy ground. The earth represents the earthly. We wear sandals so that we live a life separated from the world. But when on Holy Ground, nothing should come between God's Holiness and our life.
