Nephilim

The old testament claims that giants (Nephilims) were alive in those days. Ive heard the story that angels came down and stole the souls of men, mated with the women creating these giants. Is this story true? If not, what does the bible say about the start of these giants?

Also, how did they die off?

A: It is was underdstood as giant only because they didn't really know how to interpret it and they based it on the words following. The same word not considering vowels means to fall or fail. It is most likely used as a title for those in the Garden story who fell as the' Notorious' ones, Cain was likely included among them.
