Mt 13:44 ¶ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Mt 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Mt 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Hidden wisdom

treasure: The Hebrew word for treasure tells us what it is: מטמון matmown is the word treasure.
טמ: The wedding ט promised by the Father מ of Christ and the church.
מטמון: From מ the church טמ which is made distinct ו by the Son of Man in death ן.
The field: As before, consists of Jews and Gentiles who have a dual nature of wheat and tares, of sheep and goats.
man: Christ Jesus gave all he had for his bride. He purchased her with his blood.
pearl: The word דר white also refers to pearl, and whiteness represents holiness. Christ has told the bride to be holy.
Two parables: The parable of the treasure and the pearl are coupled. The treasure is the church in the flesh, and the pearl is the church in holiness.

Retelling the mystery

An example of the Kingdom of Heaven (the New Teaching of Peace) is that of Christ who gave everything he had for the physical church, and the Holy church as an example of God's love.
