- Pr 1:1 ¶ The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
- משלי - the rule
- שלמה - of the one with the reputation of teaching in mystery
- בן־דוד - Son of man - makes clear the command to flesh and spirit
- מלך - and rules
- ישראל׃ - men joined to God by revelation
- Pr 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
לדעת חכמה ומוסר להבין אמרי בינה׃
- לדעת - to know completely the teaching of the command to the flesh
- חכמה - and understand the mystery promise of the Father through the Son of God
- ומוסר - and the discipline through death of the completion of the spirit of the Father's promise
- להבין - to understand the teaching of the hidden new creation in the Son of Man's death
- אמרי - the Word and Lamb
- בינה׃ - understands the the hidden new creation in the Son of Man's death
- Pr 1:3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
לקחת מוסר השכל צדק ומשפט ומישרים׃
- לקחת - to learn all
- מוסר - the discipline through death of the completion of the spirit of the Father's promise
- השכל - of prudence
- צדק - righteousness
- ומשפט - justice
- ומישרים׃ - uprightness
- Pr 1:4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
לתת לפתאים ערמה לנער דעת ומזמה׃
- Pr 1:5 A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
ישמע חכם ויוסף לקח ונבון תחבלות יקנה׃
- Pr 1:6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
