WLC - Question 15 What is the work of creation?

WLC - Answer 15 The work of creation is that wherein God did in the beginning, by the word of his power, make of nothing the world, and all things therein, for himself, within the space of six days, and all very good

WLC - Answer 15 (Bob) The work of literal creation is a parabolic historic event [1] which occurred outside of time, as an allegory of the history of God working among men as recorded in the Old and New Testament. [2] Commanded to be fruitful and multiply, the first fruit was Christ in resurrection, he is fruitful by giving the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit through him, and he multiplied by teaching.
