WLC - Question 24 What is sin?
WLC - Answer 24 Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, any law of God, given as a rule to the reasonable creature.
WLC - Answer 24 (Bob) Sin and transgression are violations of Love. Transgression requires no intent. The purpose of my sin, with the accompanying pain, suffering and death, is to make myself and others so miserable, that they realize they are not Gods as they cry to God for mercy.
