The bride ז was a surprise of the cross because it was hidden in the mystery. But the bride doesn't just appear. She becomes the bride through the marriage of the lamb. <ref>[[Re 19:7]] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.</ref> It would seem that since this is mentioned in the book of Revelation that the marriage would take place in the future; but only if you assume the Book of Revelation talks about the future.
The marriage happened at the cross. Those who believe it happens in the resurrection do not know the scripture nor the power of God. <ref>[[Mr 12:24]] And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?</ref> You are NOW the bride, and you are NOW invited to the marriage supper of the lamb. You are invited to participate in the explosion of doctrine that resulted from the cross.
But just as Jesus prophesied; some have bought new property <ref>[[Lu 14:18]] And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.</ref>, other have new animals (or cars) <ref>[[Lu 14:19]] And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.</ref>, others are newly married <ref>[[Lu 14:20]] And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.</ref>; and ya know... it really doesnthey aren't matterthe only ones... we all have excuses not to come to the feast of new teaching made available by the cross.
