Section 0: Introduction

The Old Testament is Hebrew

The Old Testament of the Bible is a Hebrew book. It was inspired by God to the Hebrews, who spoke and thought in the Hebrew language, and reasoned using Hebrew logic.

Modern 'scholars' would have us believe that that God did not speak to men, but that men evolved languages from early caveman grunts. Hebrew is a language unlike any other. The strokes of the letters have meaning which combine into the meaning of letters, which again combine into meaningful words. These words have consistent metaphoric meaning as they are used in scripture. This consistency produces a tapestry, a web, a puzzle much like a crossword puzzle, which the meaning is locked and validated by its consistent use everywhere by every human author of the Bible. They speak of something which the human authors could have no knowledge of, and which was intentionally kept from them; the cross of Christ.

Scholars would have us believe that the Hebrew alphabet letters where invented in Syria while the Hebrews were captive there, and that the Hebrews wrote their most sacred scriptures in the language of their enemies. This is laughable on its face. It is as patently ridiculous as the Mormon belief that Jewish American Indians wrote their sacred scriptures in Reformed Egyptian, the language of their enemies, the Egyptians from whose bondage they escaped. Has the Gentile church gone mad?

The New Testament is Hebrew

The New Testament was written by Hebrew men ^[1] who witnessed the life of Jesus and recorded some of the things that Jesus did that fulfilled the prophecy of the Old Testament.

The NT teaches Greeks to think like Hebrews

The New Testament authors also attempted to teach the Greeks (gentiles) how to read the Old Testament like Hebrews. ^[2]

The Greeks chose 'Christianity light'

Unfortunately, the Greeks did not wish to become Jewish, nor learn to read and think like Hebrews.

The Greek church rejected the Hebrews

By 400 AD the church had become fully Greek, with some of the leaders even claiming that the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament was more reliable than the original Hebrew scriptures.

Greeks confused because they don't think like Hebrews

To be Christian, one does not need to become Jewish. However, the Old Testament is the foundation of the faith, containing the identity of the Messiah hidden in its symbols and riddles, as well as all the doctrine of the New Testament church. Today, Greek theologians ^[3] wonder where Paul got his novel doctrine since, on the surface, it appears to be very different from the Old Testament teaching, and that of Jesus. However, When Paul taught in Berea, the people there checked his doctrine against the Old Testament, only accepting it when they saw that his teaching was contained in it. Paul did not have a new doctrine, but he was like the householder who could bring from his treasure new and old. ^[4] He taught the mystery hidden in the Old Testament. ^[5]

A return to Hebrew thought

Like the Bereans, we too can check the teaching of the New Testament against the hidden riddles of the Old. We too can see the mystery which was hidden from the beginning. To do so, we must learn to read and think like Hebrews. Modern scholars will attempt to teach you Hebrew culture, forgetting that most of the time, the Jews were disobedient to God and even called prostitutes and adulterers for seeking after other gods. This was their culture.

Learning from the Hebrews not from the Jews

The way to learn how to think like a Hebrew does not come from the culture which denies Christ, but from the Hebrew scripture itself. The Christ deniers only retain a memory of the teachings of God, which have been perverted to hide Christ from their own children. ^[6]

Modern Jews claim that Christians have twisted Jewish writings to insert Christ in them. But The first church was Jewish. They saw Christ in the scriptures. The argument is not between Jews and Christians, but between Jews who accepted Christ, and those who denied him.

It is an eastern, Hebrew way of thinking where the language is tasted and word play is the warp and woof of it.
