The phrase 'gates of Hell' only occurs once in scripture. [1] the Rule - Rigorous prevents us from forming a doctrine on a single verse. Therefor a doctrine built on a single verse is not valid.

The doctrine that says suggests that the gates attack the church have no supporting verses.

Gates do not attack.
