Since the waters מים are also the Word of God, the dry land is the incarnation and desolation of Christ. He was separated from the Father by the flesh and on the cross, and died unfruitful.

And life came from the death of Christ:

Ge 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Grass

It brought forth grass. The word grass דשא means to show green. It is a riddle. The word Father אב also means 'fresh greenery'. The first fruit of the cross was that the Father was revealed.

It brought forth the herb yielding it's seed. The parable of the Mustard seed solves this one for us. Jesus was the least of all the seed because he was the seed of the woman, and served us all.

Herb

Christ became the great herb. It is a riddle. The herb was given to man to eat:

Ge 1:29 ¶ And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

The greatest thing that man can eat is the body of Christ. The seed of Christ are the saved through Christ.

Tree

And the tree is naturally the cross, with it's fruit.

Just observations. Do with them what you will.
