yirah and roeh share the gate רא which means: the revelation ר of G-d א. It would appear hat we have used the aleph for "God spoke and created the heavens and the earth" as well as for "G-d". A metaphor can represent the actor, the action, or the object. Also the aleph has multiple meaning based on how it is dissected.
