Eliezer's rule 7 defines the use of analogy, synonyms, homonyms and puns.  Synonyms which occur frequently together form a pattern of interest; rock and stone suggest two aspects of the same idea. Many homonymns were removed from scripture around 600 AD when modern vowels were added spitting a formation (a series of letters) into multiple 'words'; ''Amar'' for 'word' is also 'lamb' but now appears to be two words by the new vowels. Puns are formed by teh substitution of consonants that sound similar or vowels (yes, Hebrew has vowels).  Examples: yod-vav, he-chet, tet-tov, samech-shin. They are also formed by adding vowels in various positions within a word.

Pr 25:2 ¶ [It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.

Our first step is to draw together the passages thatt speak of the same things using rules 8, 10, 17, 21, 22, 23, 27, 31, and 32 which we simplify by an analogy of transparencies. All the passages which appear to be speaking of the same thing (mustard seed) are laid upon one another as one picture.

We have broken them into parts so that they may be examined closely. Our assumption is that they were written in the order of Mark, Matthew, Luke. Differences are used to discern the growth in understanding over time as they studied the scriptures and were led by the Spirit in truth; each being a snapshot of the understanding at 10-15 year intervals.

Notarikon

Notarikon is the ancient Hebrew practice of interpreting the meaning of words by the meaning of the combinations of letters within the word. It can be a bit tedious, so we will get it out of the way before each section concerning the words in use. We will translate the Greek into Hebrew since there is no indication that Greek shares the same property of Hebrew, and the apostles were Hebrew and thought and taught in Hebrew.

Gezerah shawah (analogy)

Eliezer's rule 7 defines the use of analogy, synonyms, homonyms and puns. Synonyms which occur frequently together form a pattern of interest; rock and stone suggest two aspects of the same idea. Many homonymns were removed from scripture around 600 AD when modern vowels were added spitting a formation (a series of letters) into multiple 'words'; Amar for 'word' is also 'lamb' but now appears to be two words by the new vowels. Puns are formed by teh substitution of consonants that sound similar or vowels (yes, Hebrew has vowels). Examples: yod-vav, he-chet, tet-tov, samech-shin. They are also formed by adding vowels in various positions within a word.
